Bassler Steffen

Born 1973

Following an apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank AG in Mannheim he studied Business Administration at the European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in La Rochelle and the University of California at San Diego.

After graduating Steffen Bassler worked at Daimler Financial Services AG in the international management trainee group with locations in Canada, Berlin, Madrid and Puerto Rico. Afterwards he set up the risk management for fleet management. After that he worked for the consulting firm Arthur D. Little AG in Zurich with strategy and corporate finance mandates for Swiss industrial and financial companies. Subsequently he joined as a director the investment banking division of Credit Suisse AG in Zurich and London.

Steffen Bassler is a lecturer in Corporate Finance at the European Business School and a founding member of the Advisory Board of the EBS Symposium. He also works as a freelance editor for the World Week (Swiss weekly paper) and advises start-up companies as investment partners.
